look's like i need more laser's  ;D here's my best 3 out of 9 laser's

the aixiz module's "very" in size i have some the like 15/32 and some that like 12mm ::) . from now on i just do 12mm and use a set screw . just make shure you use a drill press . if you try a hand drill and a vise good luck . geting that module in a heatsink will realy make this build look...

just cut it out with a dremel thats what i use . for a round hole you could have used a bi metal hole saw but now your hole is to big for the pilot bit . i like the look of a squre cut out :D

yes this is what you want to use to splice it back together. you can get them @ homedepot / radioshack check the wire for it's size look for rg6 or rg59 then get that size connector . the coupler is universal size . you can use the twist on connector's . but i suggest the compresion...

Re: blu-ray spirograph yup i used  plain old 5k pot's  4 of them  ;) the 1st spiro is soo ugly . that's it in the pic above .the only thing you can't see is the 9v batt's and the patchbay i made to change the direction very crude work but it still  work's  :D i'm working on the final build ...

nice to see it coming along . do you have a heatsink on the laser module? look's exposed . can't wait to see some vid's :D

Re: blu-ray spirograph yes i did in fact make the spiro . i only half made the blu-ray  i got the module from digital blue . i just finaly got around to making the heatsink . here's a older pic of the spiro with the 50mw green. i just finish'd the case . now all i have to do is put it all...
