just bolt it down to a piece of wood or metal.... your "shock" idea will make it worse... i expect.. :P Just secure it tightly, that should do the job.... Or go the opposite way and make it more unstable :D makes really cool patterns then!

My beam is really narrow... bright, but i dont think it could cut tape :'(

The 35mw module from DX is great... really bright... with a little smoke it looks more like a 100mw :o

I think that would make it even worse... or is that what you want? more vibration or less?
