I made a heatsink at work for a $1 AA light, it fits smoothly with a 15.5mm dia, 5mm deep recession at the end for the driver components. Now coming home to the driver I find that it is at least 8mm high. And I am not back with the lathe for another 4 weeks. :(

Not solved, but he have been stopped before he sold them all. Hopefully he is now unable to sell them and still out of the materials cost. There will be new scammers here, and newbies will be newbies, but the rest of us will hopefully be keeping an even more watchful eye on new sellers.

To me, making an extension tube sounds next to impossible. I can make a heatsink, but making treads, and in a thin tube sounds an order of magnitude harder.
