    Goodbye, LPF (from John7788)

    Laser Problems

What I have done is to stick a side cutter* into the end of the pipe, cut a gash, grab and start twisting. With a bit of luck and care you will end up with the pen/tube in a ½'' strip rolled around the head of the side cutter. (or several strips) Be careful, the metal edges are sharp. *Kb...

If you can't press the module out, you will likely have to peel off the metal tube :(

    405mm 600mw violete diode

There is a search function in the upper left corner. If you type in "linear driver" this is one of the first results. http://laserpointerforums.com/f67/how-do-linear-drivers-work-57793.html

    Laser Problems

It is possible, perhaps it is set too high and overheat the crystals quickly. Do you have any measuring instruments? Try check the tailcap current.

    Laser Problems

$5 greens vary a bit in quality, and there is not much to do about it. There are treads on how to buy a good green laser.

    H1600 - Possible higher-powered 445s? Not just a new "model number" this time ;)

Re: Possible higher-powered 445s? Not just a new "model number" this time ;) Nice, so either more, or more powerful diodes. :)

    OEM lasers in 26.5mm modules?

Maybe I am a bit critical at the moment, it just turned out that the heatsink I made for my aurora SS 16340 is a 0.2mm too small and rattle in the host. :( The hotlight heatsink would need to be cut in half to fit my 501b, that is a solution, but not quite what I were looking for. You just see...

    OEM lasers in 26.5mm modules?

:dl: Yes, you got a point there. :eg: I am going to wait a few days more for my 2.5W LPM to arrive before I start making "unusual demands" any diodes or crystals. (I think it was the famous Casanova who said something about treating a maid like a lady and a lady like a lady of the night.:D)...

Anyone want to buy a K-mart giftcard for a discounted price ;)

I thought he got inspired by my idea of a flashlight, but it turns out that he wants a computer game. Shipped within the US, which beat my offer. :( (A obvious sign that he is able to have ideas of his own. :D)

    OEM lasers in 26.5mm modules?

What!!! I just checked, the heatsink from the blue hotlight is too long for the WF-501b.

Guess I should have gone by PM, to avoid giving anyone ideas. :D Too bad, nice light.

We hardly ever see any DIY green builds..

Nice, and I have just been asking about drop-ins in mods and experiments. :D +1

I have just been looking through the store, this caught my interest.Clothing, Toys, Electronics, Jewelry, Jaclyn Smith - Kmart.com It is a nice light and I would happily pay $20 to have it shipped to Denmark.

Excellent stuff from Flaminpyro and Mohrenberg

I have dealt with both, and are not surprised. :)

    Potmodding/powersetting

Amazing. And quite interesting how much emphasis she places on crystal temperature. I think I will just stick to adjusting some greens for now. :)

Thanks. It will be interesting to try. :)

FS:532nm 200mW Green Beam Laser Pointer DC 3V(free shipping)

I am quite envious, and would not try adjust it either. :)

FS:532nm 200mW Green Beam Laser Pointer DC 3V(free shipping)

The price is $401.98 now. A bit much considering Odicforce have the same module in 250mW for £130. He is apparently selling the low output end of the range, but there is a difference in output guarantee and return policy.
