    Noob looking for knowledge/help

Soldering is fun and easy. I don't know if you have a soldering iron and flux/solder but are you sure you want to jump right in and build a DIY laser? Most would suggest buying a cheaper one to gain experience with safety first. Do you have EaglePairs yet? Don't mean to barrage you like this.

Depending on how accessible your lens is, you could try lens cleaner. Like the wipes they sell for glasses.

I know Paul may seem to come off sticky and can get involved in everything, but it is because he is very knowledgeable and trying to help. People are different, different ages, come from different backgrounds, and even cultures. Paul is always willing to give out helpful information and has...

    What Is M9x0.5mm?

Thank you Paul for providing helpful advice and staying on topic and not trying to be passive agressive :) This one belive it or not isn't a 301, 303 laser. It's a military style type pointer. But yes, I do just think I will have to experiment with this, but the most important thing is I...

    What Is M9x0.5mm?

This one only uses one collimating lens. I was mainly looking for a quality lens since these come scratched 2 times out of 3. I was just thinking of buying these cheap plastic lenses themselves, popping the old one out with a screw driver, and putting the new one in with the tiniest drop of glue

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

FYI for Sanwu buyers, it is Chinese New Year in China right now so shipments will most likely be severely delayed until it ends February 8th. Same if you are trying to contact them. It's always a good idea to look out for Chinese holidays when ordering lasers 😊

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Sanwu is one of the most reputable and best laser pointer companies there is. It sounds like they are sending you the two separately, and the reason they are not responding is because it is currently Chinese New Year. Also why the second shipment is delayed.

    What Is M9x0.5mm?

Thanks for the replies. Yeah Paul, that's what I figured. Looks like my main laser is a nice standard M9x0.5 type lens. But the reason I ask is because I was looking to see if I could find something better to upgrade/replace the lens on my Chinese 532nm. It's an odd lens that has a 11mm...

    What Is M9x0.5mm?

If you don't mind me asking, have you ever seen a M11x0.5, AKA 11mm diameter lens that threads in? The M9x0.5s look like that will drop in perfectly to my main laser, but the other one I was hoping for has a 11mm diameter lens screw.
