    WTB> Sand-blasted matte turquoise pen

I accidentally let this thread die. I was going through a lot back then. Those were some good options, and I could use them on lasers I'm not as pumped about, but these are very important wavelengths to me, so I don't want to settle on anything but kinda close to the vision. Though that...

    WTB> Confirmed 493-503nm

Hello all, I'm in the market for a diode that's been confirmed in the 493-503nm range. I know it's narrow, and I should be satisfied by ~488/505nm, but after seeing the 496 and 502 lines on my Ar+ so many years ago, it's always been a dream to get more than a couple hundred uW of that...

    Decent pen-sized drivers?

Huh...sounds like I'll need to buy some 10440 spacers, or some new smaller hosts. I wouldn't mind some small powder-coated 1x 10440 hosts, that's a decent aesthetic.

    Decent pen-sized drivers?

Glad to see the flex drives are still around. I see they're still offered on DTR's shop. I won't even need to build another dummy load since the max on the low end is 100ma, and that just so happens to be perfect for both the Sharp 488 and 505s. Neat! Thanks y'all!

    Decent pen-sized drivers?

Hello folks, I'm more settled in my new home, and now that I'm (still) unpacking, I've found a collection of old hosts and diodes that I haven't done anything with. I have a handful of unmarked de-canned diodes, another handful of regularly canned diodes, a 1W 405nm, a 505nm or two, and a...

    Homebuilt Manganese Vapour Laser (MnVL)

Now that I'm more awake, I see that he was requesting a HeSe next, not asking if HeSe's exist. Also that it's Daichi, who obviously knows of HeSe's...I'm a fool in a man's world.

    Homebuilt Manganese Vapour Laser (MnVL)

I see that nobody replied to this...yes, HeSe is in fact a thing. As far as I'm tracking, they never made it into serious mass production, but they have an insanely wide output spectrum. You can briefly read about a homemade rig here: Mark's Homemade Helium-Selenium (HeSe) Laser

    WTB> Sand-blasted matte turquoise pen

In the ballpark, but I’m really firm on the matte finish. Not reflective.

    WTB> Sand-blasted matte turquoise pen

Hey! The full request is in the title, I’m looking for a custom built sand-blasted matte turquoise pen, or similarly slender host. I really want my upcoming 505nm build to pop. I’ve got a ton of diodes lying around that I haven’t had the opportunity to put into a build, figure it’s about time...

    SOLD: Multiline Orange HeNe

If I could afford this, I certainly would like to replace the one I owned that passed away. You’ll be hearing from me.

    Orange 607nm 170mW kvant Labby

Jesus....it's finally happened. Nice grab mate, she's beautiful. Now about that orange diode...???

    B> YAG/KTP Mounts

I do plan to temperature control everything for maximum efficiency once I have a decent setup. For now, it's just about getting my feet wet again. It's been a while since I was last doing this thing. I still have my TEC driver, so once I get ballsy enough to try a more hardened setup, I'll...

    B> YAG/KTP Mounts

I am aware of the requirement to mount it at either +45 or -45deg off axis. This kinematic mount will allow me to rotate the crystal housing as needed to achieve optimal positioning. I simply need a housing for the crystal.

    Sale thread/ Hosts/Heat Sinks/Focus adapters/lasers

Are any of these heatsinks exactly ⌀1" and direct diode press for TO18 and threaded for focusing optics? If not, could I commission one? I need cylindrical heatsinks to mount 808nm DPSS pump diodes in.

    B> YAG/KTP Mounts

Aloha. I'm looking for someone to build some custom Ø1.0" mounts to hold some various sized YAG and KTP crystals. Most of the crystals are around 2-3.5mm LxW, height is irrelevant. I'm looking for copper, and I'd like the disks to be 7mm wide with a wedge that will allow me to drop the...

Convert a red HeNe to yellow

So much kindess in one place... I had a decent ML HeNe produced by REO that did something like 7-8 lines between 604-652.5, but they're known to also do IR as well, I just never noted it. It's good to be back, I need to get back into my hobbies, and I have a desk and all of my equipment in my...

Convert a red HeNe to yellow

Going for green in a non-green is certainly labor-intensive. Although I've managed to pull yellow + red simultaneously with green out of a green REO LHG0500. My old rasta tube..

Sharp GH04955A2G/ The New 495nm diodes

Very interesting results thus far. I’ll be sticking close to this one to see how this develops. Great work so far, and great discussion.

    505nm and 480nm diode RESULTS

Hermetic sealing won't be an issue, that was the plan anyway. I have some AR windows that aren't going to any other use. Although I'm also not horribly worried about it, if I'm being honest. A member on Photon Lexicon (Planters) had cooled a Mitt P73 638nm diode via liquid nitrogen, down to...
