Wow!!! that was helpful. I guess you missed the part where I said ''knowing full well that it wouldn't be 10.000mw'' and if you wanna laugh that's fine but lets not forget the real question here, Thanks.

Hi Forum members.
I have a newbie question regarding the correct procedure for testing a lasers output.
I purchased this laser pointer
Wholesale Product Snapshot Product name is Burn Match Professional Powerful 10000MW Focusable Burning Green Laser Pointer Pen lazer pointer 10000m
You know what? Stuff it, I'll make my own.
After some research I've found that there are so many knock off's that the chances of finding one with the correct thread is damn near impossible, even the extension tube vendors don't seam to know what they fit and the chances of getting the rite one...
Hi every one, I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a compatible extension tube to suit an Ultrafire fw-501b or 502b host to be able to use 2 x 18650 batteries.
They are a really cool host and I think it would look good extended for a 7.2 volt application.

No no, the glue was okay, centering the lens didn't work, I should've left it where it was.
On another note, I've been checking out axis type housing and see that there are different lengths between 30 to 45 mm. Is there a standard size used by builders? And are these
1pcs 12mm X 45mm House...
So there's an actual method? And I thought it was all trial and error.
Yes any advice you can throw at me will be greatly appreciated thank you.
I've done a bit of a web search on alignment but haven't turned up any thing that I can understand.
Yes it looks like that's the sort of glue that is on the modules that I've purchased.
I did in fact remove the lens to centre it and found that it wouldn't work and it's a bit of a nightmare to get it back in the same place,, bottom line is, if it aint broke don't fix it :oLOL.
Thanks for the...
So does that mean that the beams don't run parallel to the housings or does the focus lens correct it?
This could be an issue for bore or laser sights with elevation and windage, one could set the dot at a given distance but anything before or after that distance will be out.
Thanks for the reply Actually you can't just pop the sucker off and relocate it because whist it's off centre it works fine, I tried what you suggested and it through the beam all over the place so I put it back. It doesn't bother me at all, it's just a learning question.
Hi guys, I purchased some green laser modules from Dx and they seem to be reasonably well made for the price, they work well too and the lenses seem to be made of glass but I notice that the Expanding Lens is Off Centre. :wtf:
Is this normal? Or is it compensating for a poorly installed diode...
