Trying to create a He-Ne handheld laser

Amazing, thank you! I will see if Voltex has any available. However, that specific host might be a bit harder to obtain.

Trying to create a He-Ne handheld laser

Thank you for clarifying this! Do you think using a boost converter would also minimize space?

Trying to create a He-Ne handheld laser

Hello! I have seen people on here successfully attempt to create He-Ne handheld lasers and was curious if the tube and power supply that I have could fit into a host. The tube is a very small 05-LYR-006 (594nm). The battery pack is shown in the photo. Does anyone know of someone that might be...

Looking to buy or have built a handheld 589nm 10mw+ laser

Apparently it is a bit more complex than I had imagined. Lifetime17 said it is quite risky to build so I'm debating on even doing a build now. I saw that dragon lasers changed their module from 10mw to 50mw yesterday so If anyone is confident that they can safely build me one please let me know.

Looking to buy or have built a handheld 589nm 10mw+ laser

Thanks again for the response. It looks like they do have some in stock at dragon lasers so all I need is the response from lifetime and then It should be good. :)(y) Also, I'm sorry for breaking the rules. I really should have known better. Is there any way a mod can delete this thread?

Looking to buy or have built a handheld 589nm 10mw+ laser

I know it probably isn't right to post here considering I do not have 20 posts but, I am looking for a 589nm 10mw+ laser. If someone would be able to potentially build me one I can either pay for the module and have it sent to you and you build the host or, you buy the module and create the...

    Dragon Lasers 589nm module question.

Ah ok, thanks! I see that DL could get it to me in about 7-12 days. Would it be easier to go through them over CNI because I have heard they take quite a while to respond to requests? Also, I appreciate the recommendation I will definitely try and pm him! :)(y)

    Dragon Lasers 589nm module question.

Hi, I noticed that Dragon Lasers produces 589nm 10mw modules. I was curious if it would be as simple for someone to just build a host and put the module in? If so, I would be very interested in doing so! I can't link it because of my lack of posts but it is very easy to find on their website. :)

    A long overdue introduction post

Hi, my name is Ryan. I have been lurking these forums on and off for a while now and have even bought stuff off the forums but for some reason, I never really thought to post myself until now. I have been a big collector of different wavelengths and am trying to collect more and more. I also...
