    If you're using a pc you should be able to resize them. If you're using Windows 10 you can resize them manually. I had to once and I think I used the Windows Photo Editor program.

    A simple way to focus to infinity, achieve an infinite conjugate is by adjusting the beam on a distant surface at least 100 feet (30.48m) and thereby making as small of a spot as possible.

    I put "Fat Beam" in quotes and used capitol letters at the beginning of each word to indicate it's not a term I made up. Why did you not look it up to find out if this might be useful?

    A beam expander could make the beam more hazardous depending on how it's used. There is a laser thing known as "Fat Beam" which is a better option.

    I'm almost 100% certain the "box artifact" is caused by a reflection from the inner rim of the diode can. I say this because of noticing a ring of light around the main spot from a 405 nm diode. When a lens is put in place and the beam is infinitely focused one can see the box artifact form.
