I know it´s a noob question but Im not sure about. Im trying to buy >100mw focusable torch to an chinese supplier that swears that his supplier says it´s over 100mw. The only fact I have is that it burns matches when on focus, so I would like to know what would be the minimum 532 burning black...
Finally I could get it run with the pinout posted by meatball (thank you so much!), but the driver for some obscure reason didnt want to give more than 200ma. Now Im on a journey-festival, when I come back I´ll try with another driver and post some photos and results. Thanks all for the valuable...
My fault. It has 3 pins. The case one (number 2) was cuted from the very base so I couldn´t see it at the first look at night... Even today at the sun is barely visible.
Im documenting it with some photos, I´ll upload when finished. Thank you so much for all the info, is so appreciated... I...
I have the 405nm diode extracted. It´s supposed to reach 500mw.
I have been deep searching for the pintout of this diode and the only suggestion found is that should be like other high power 405 LD. The info is supplied by Danguin:
(Thank you Daguin!)
The assumption is what afraids me. More...
Today they have post it in facebook:
My fellow buyer. I am sure your order is comming ;)
I guess they have been really overflooded this time. So, maybe, if the Pioneer sled is as good as I hope, I´ll order again... let see!
I have mailed him just before opening the thread, and here is the response:
Well, they have good prices, but is only suitable if you are not in a hurry, IMO.
I guess it will arrive in 2 weeks, that is the standard shipping time China-Spain. I´ll write a brief review of the sled and hopefully...
On 25/dic/12 I made a payment for a BDR-206 12x sled.
They have ship it today, 3 weeks later. Im upset as hell. In the site they state that the can take up to 7 days to ship (!!!), wich I found almost absurd, but 3 weeks... shit!
Ooops... I know the trick of rotating the cap... is not my first laser... but the cap I have has only this effect. In fact my case is different (plain yellow pale) and the laser aperture is perfectly aligned, so the whole laser is different: 2 in 1
I have received 2 units of the 4-in-1 today. Except that they are not 4 in 1 but 2 in 1. It only have the stars field effect and plain dot.
I don´t have LPM but I have a 92mw metered green from a reliable user of this forum and that ones have the exact visual power, so I guess both are 90mw...
Or maybe run a batch of them.
Do you know a "taiwanese" kind of company that you send an Eagle design, with all the specs and they run a batch of the circuit?. I mean with all the SMDs soldered components, the finished circuit, not just the PCBs.
I have 2 homemade DDL just in front of me... but I need it in bulk. And ultracheap ,)
I mean: a green pen, with 50mw diode, house and linear driver cost 4-5€. Im looking for a kind of 'chinese' supplier like this ones to get them adjustable, medium power (300-400ma) around 1-2€, in bulk...
Hummm, are you sure?. Why should it cost 41USD, then?.
The site says:
"The aperture converts invisible 190-390nm light to a visible orange with a minimum sensitivity of 1mJ/cm2 and a maximum damage threshold of 10J/cm2"[...]
So it seems to be an aperture filter that converts light to lower...
I would like to know how this works, the technical/wikipedia name of it, and of course, a cheaper way to get that if possible... resuming, any info will be appreciated
