Oh no, DTR's lens is better, it is in the standard M9 x 0.5 threaded barrel........now some of the sanwu lasers have a lens with a different thread count but the G7 sanwu sells in a M9 x 0.5 barrel.....actually they offer you the option IINM so if you have a Sanwu housing you will need the...

CLOSED: Osram PL 530 Modules: 808 nm to 530 nm OPSL Technology - Narrow .3 nm Linewidth (new, old stock)

I had reserved 4 but I don't need them, was only for kicks so I will sit this one out so others have a better chance...............unless you want me to take them or want me to pay which I will gladly do.

Try at DTR G8 it's also a long focal length single element like the G7 only better, it's more efficient and has a broadband 400-700nm AR coating and it's built right with a seat and retainer so it can be taken apart, the G7 is a glue in arrangement and it's not as efficient...

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

Theses the v1 and v2 as far as the NUBM44 goes, I have not heard of anything newer than the v2 and that's what DTR sells. The 7A75 is not as strong however it's not weak either, the 7A has a little better divergence and I run them at 4.0a which is still ok for 2 x 18650 EFest cells and I wanted...

    Sharp GH04W10A2GC 350mW 405nm

I killed one of these purple wonders last night and I don't know how but it's dead, not even LED it's just open circuit.....are these particularly static sensitive ? So far my other Sharp diodes haven't been although it's my fault for not using a mat/strap

Videos from youtube you wish to share.

This is Dashapples channel IINM, remember his Necsel test that's in the YT video line up ? The laser appears to be a 20w 915nm fiber coupled module using his home made beam expander which he shows you in the beginning and running on those battery packs on top and his driver in the back of that...

How does a laser power meter actually work?

It takes about 12 seconds to hit 100% Yes it's the 20w version, seems to be accurate based on comparing what some known diodes at known current should be as tested by DTR in his videos. I am planning on getting a new meter with a larger sensor area. I want to measure up 100w of ir 808-1050nm...

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

Thanks Rich and SGD, I hope to share some of my fun and continue to share in everyone else's as well. When I am focused in tight I see that bright orange glow through my safety glasses just like on the desktop, it's that well focused intense glow from a small spot but my camera shows a bigger...

How does a laser power meter actually work?

    It's looks like about 6.5 x 6.5mm or maybe 6 x 7mm so it's actually 42.25 or 42 and yours is 15 x 15 so 225 so yours is 5 1/2 times the area 550%

How does a laser power meter actually work?

Wow.........I didn't know laserbee had a 10 watt unit, and it has 4 times the sensor area of my hyperion .........hindsight https://www.laserbeelpm.com/laserbee-a10.html

I think 455nm is prettier than 445nm as well. :) It's a windy day today, but that won't stop the mighty 7A🔥 Target is a half a popsicle stick at about 18 feet.

    Sharp GH04W10A2GC 350mW 405nm

So I'm thinking 800ma to yield around 1260mw and it might have a decent lifespan ?

Verde Volcano Jr., a 520nm 1500 mW 8 Lenses System Handheld Laser

Awesome build (y) I'm sure the beam looks so amazing live and looking back down the beam in either direction from a long distance has to be fun. Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next one. :D

    Sharp 185mW GH0631IA2G 638nm Laser Diode

Just to avoid any confusion: 250mW Oclaro HL6388MG 637nm Is a multi mode diode. Sharp 185mW GH0631IA2G 638nm Is a single mode.

    Sharp GH04W10A2GC 350mW 405nm

I understand how the bandwidth of 405 means more digital info per given length of track and how writing thinner tracks means more info per disc however I am talking about using a stronger multi mode diode and they are likely using a circularizing lens such as the 405 pulls junktronix was selling...

    Post your random pics!

All our problems......who said all our problems were on account of illegal immigrants ? So far only you. What do you think would happen if Trump loaded an airplane with so much cash that they had to use foreign currencies as well as dollars just to get hands on enough actual paper currency to...

    This is different..

Ohms are a measure of resistance, the higher the resistance the less current will flow. At 4 volts through 1 ohm 4 amps can flow but at 4 volts through 10 ohms only 400ma ( 4/10 of an amp ) can flow. So a 1 ohm resistive load is a reasonable test, for example a nubm44 with 2 x 18650 in series...
