Whoops! That post was for an entirely different thread! haha
Oh well, thanks for being a champ about this insane necro post. And those beamshots are so impressive I think I'll have to get that diode now lol.
Well, sorry about that slight necro posting I did, but hey I was not even two months off of the last post! haha
Anyways, sorry about your luck... even though other places may have cheaper prices, I always stick with DTR because I will get everything I order... And quickly too!
Also, sorry to keep this thread going, but has anyone used Survival Laser's external lenses? I was thinking that maybe these could help with the lenses being wobbly with the BE because apparently they reduce lens wobbliness. Are they any good?
From his website. I had to order the pattern caps too, but they're only a few bucks. It gives you an option to buy just the pattern caps or the pattern caps and adapter, and that's what you need. The pattern caps and adapter are only 5 bucks together. Or you could get the laser sabre and adapter...
Well, actually I think I may have come across something interesting here! So I know it's not the greatest amount of expansion, but I believe it could possibly be a universal expander.
It is only 3x expansion, but as far as the...
Damn, told my cousin that he was an alright guy to buy from not too long ago... boy was I wrong?! Guess I'll have to tell him to open up a dispute now... Now I need to apologize to my cousin for referring him to a total scammer... should've just built him something... I guess that's what I'll...
Hey thanks again everybody! I've already learned a lot from everybody on here! And I definitely have developed an odd addiction to all this! I get itchy when something isn't in the mail  And thanks RedCowboy for mentioning safety, as it really is the most important part of this hobby.
Hi pyro, I am a complete noob DIY laser hobbyist and I stumbled across your vast treasure trove of drivers. So I was just wondering when do you know it's best to use an X-drive vs X-boost vs a super X-drive or super X-boost? Sorry if this is such a broad question that it's hard to answer. Thanks.
I found some on CNI's website. Although their ordering system is rather convoluted? And I haven't heard much about them, but they seem pretty reliable. If not, I guess I'll stick my neck out with Dragonlasers.
Thank you for the advice Laser Chick. My Nano ate batteries like nobody's business and I never knew why! Where did you get your high powered 532 from? Or did you build it? Also, do you have any idea where I can find some fan diffraction gratings?
So I have a couple of cheap 5mW pointers that are violet and green. I also have a green 532 nm 100mW lazerer classic, a 650nm 200mW lazerer cyber, a 650nm Wicked lasers nano 100mW, and a 501B 1 watt+ 445nm from sci-fi lasers. And a dead laser from sci-fi lasers unfortunately.
Hey everybody, as you can tell, I am brand new to this forum!
I've visited this forum several times recently, as I am just starting to pick up my hobby with lasers. Seeing all of the great community support made it apparent that I had to register, so here I am doing exactly that...
