Ye, looks like it's going to be plasma. I'll have to check out water cutters a bit more. Maybe theres a cheaper way to make it myself, as it only have to cut through 1mm steel.

Ok, he used about 1sec/cm for the 12mm. But anyways, I just need to cut through 1 mm.. Do i really need 1kW to do that? How much would that cost? If you where to say an estimate. :)

I use the standard kit-lense, yes :) No macro "lense" here, only the macro adapter thingy that I bought from DealExtreme.. :) It's a great buy, if you have enough light on the object.

you sure it wouldnt work? because I think mine are spinning a lot faster than it should, as I use 16V for it :P It gets hot after 30sec to a minute of spinning.. I know its not healthy for the fan, but thats what I got to try out the tunnel thingy ^^

I used some smoke, yes :) Had an old smoke-machine I got for my birthday when I was a kid xD Still works, never actually used it :P My greene should be 50mW, but its from DealExtreme, and that particular laser have been tested lower than that. SO I would guess 40mW? Maybe a littlebit less...

Thats the exact same laser and package that I got from DX. 50mW (I know it rates below this, but what is the average output?) for 20$. Not saying it is the same :) But it is the same casing and stuff...
