    Questions about CNI UV.

So your finger split open like a hot dog in the microwave?

    Anyone seen this 465nm laser?

I used to argue this fact all the time in my high school physics class. Eventually Mr. K just stopped asking where the energy to do "X" came from because he knew what was coming next.

Slightly crazy 980 nm laser experiment

Dear Darwin, merciful father, please watch over and protect this combination of genes from harm, for it knows not what it does. And if you see fit, supreme father, to gather it back into your loving embrace, please help us to know that the removal of this genetic legacy is for the good of the...

    Micro-sized LOC build, with enthusiasm!

Thanks for that. I'm planning to do a red build and I just have to try this lens.

445nm diode glows after being turned off.

I can't detect this on mine powered by a Flex V5.

200mW Green Focus Adjustable Laser from BudgetGadgets - Detailed Review

Is this one, or the O-like (I'm assuming they're the same product) IR filtered?

    That's an awesome looking sled.

**Maybe Another?** GB: LPC-815 Sleds $4.45 300mW Red Laser Diode

Re: **Closed Accepting Payments!** Official GB: LPC-815 Sleds $4.45 300mW Red Laser D So does anyone have a breakdown of all the goodies in this sled? The magnets will be useful, but I'm interested in the optics and stuff too.

    Micro-sized LOC build, with enthusiasm!

That's really awesome. Can you tell us a little more about the lens you used? What sled it came from, etc?

WTB: 1st Gen Wicked Lasers Pulsar - *PICS* -

I have one of these. The insides are good, but the button is broken, and it's pretty scratched up. I can show pics later, it it's still something you'd be interested in.

Crystals That Phosphoresce Under Blue (405nm) Laser Only

I have a couple opals that mildly phosphoresce. Some diamonds will do it too, but the ones that do are clearly fluorescent.

Re: **Closed Accepting Payments!** Official GB: LPC-815 Sleds $4.45 300mW Red Laser D Got my sleds yesterday. Thanks.

Possible to get very cheap complete kits?

Well, why don't you jump up and down about it? What I read in the OP is that he didn't want to have a bunch of stuff shipped, and that he wanted to learn how to do things himself. Maybe "do all of this myself" means different things to different people. Maybe he wants something he can just...

Thought I'd show off my first build. (405nm pen)

Yep, they're good at deleting things :)

Possible to get very cheap complete kits?

I don't think thermal epoxy is all that expensive. At least I don't remember paying much for it. Maybe it was on sale when I got mine. Soldering them together would probably be okay. The diode is not going to melt solder. Probably some thermal grease between each one and maybe some kapton...

    100mW O-Like Green ‘Cute’ Laser w/ Pics!

Re: Review of My New 100mW O-Like Green ‘Cute’ Laser I might just get one and try it. If nothing else I could probably moosh some silicone into it or something.

    Laser-induced fluorescent laser?

A while back I saw a video on youtube where this guy built a nitrogen laser, and then used that to make highlighter ink lase with a greenish yellow beam :) It was totally ghetto, but it turned out really awesome.

Possible to get very cheap complete kits?

Something I've been wanting to try which I've seen other people do is get some copper washers and thermal epoxy them together for a heatsink. You can get 12mm inner diameter ones which should fit right over an Aixiz module, and you can stack up however many you need for good coverage. Should...

Why did my battery thread get closed?

Common courtesy isn't as common as you thought? It's because you put Arctic in the title. If you would have put anything besides Arctic it would have been fine.
