1.9W Ehgemus RPL Stlyle 26650 Host

Found a new use for mine!..... KILLING FLIES! This summer, flies would try to get on the top of my 12 foot ceiling where I couldn't get them.... "wrong!" My 1.9W lazer made my DTR does a fine job of toasting them... while they immediately fly, in a few minutes you will see them on the ground...

    4400 Watt laser cutting titanium

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers **OUT TILL FEB-5TH** CHEAP $180 Never use the same color as the beam... it reflects the energy of that frequency the most and therefore doesn't absorb it. Black should be fine though. Red is good too.... Whites and yellows etc will reflect too much. 10 feet away...

    DTR A+ seller

Had a friend at work come out to my car to see my 1.9W big boy..... Its was pretty cool to shoot about 8 feet away at my window of my car "was below freezing outside" at a dead leaf on a tree moving in the wind and I was still able to make it smoke and burn a big hole in it!.... Was quite the...

    HotY2010: Semi-finals poll part 1!!

I too have one of his masterpieces and thats why I voted for the Frankenstein since mine is a kissin cousin.... but IMO mine has a much nicer host and better fits the definition of this poll to win..... Weighing in at 1.9Watts, its a no brainer for me. Of course, thats just my opinion and...

    HotY2010: Semi-finals poll part 1!!

Humm... I guess the original question is confusing for me " " This makes the question sound like its all about the torch "style" rather than the laser itself and it's performance abilities. I've tended to view the question as a "total package".. meaning if I only had so much money to spend...

    HotY2010: Semi-finals poll part 1!!

I have a lot of good ideas myself... ones that would or "should" be very marketable in my field if I just knew how to put it all together and market it. My hats always off to someone who can take the tools and pieces of others work and make something people can actually use that slams the...

    HotY2010: Semi-finals poll part 1!!

Too bad this one didn't get in the Poll..... 1.9W Ehgemus RPL Stlyle 26650 Host This is the one I got..... really sweet!... and beautiful with the masterful artwork of Ehgemus!... One bad bad boy! Of course final product created by DTR!.... Kinda like the Frankenstein in a different package...

    HotY2010: Semi-finals poll part 1!!

Not to detract from the competition, because its formidable... but there are two types of inventors. While all inventors work off the platform of the work of their predecessor, some stand out from the others by not simply copying the work of others but creating new lasers with new abilities. Not...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers W/COPPER HEATSINKS CHEAP $180 200.00 is a lot to spend just for a project, but its worth it for the laser regardless of the project! To pass through a transparent object you will need to play the game of not reflecting the beam and not absorbing it either by the...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers W/COPPER HEATSINKS CHEAP $180 I like to top the off too, but LiIon has never presented an issue with self discharge for me. Thats the same type of batteries used to power your computer bios, and almost everything I have in my house. NiMH is another story.... 2 - 5%...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 I got the impression it doesn't sit against the glass but rather on the metal surrounding the glass and the concern would be if someone turned and played with it enough it could get caught, bend and flip down onto the glass or some reasonable scenario...

    1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180 Yea but in time it wears out and you have to do it again. I can't speak from experience but I would think the spring would be a good fix if you didn't turn it great amounts all the time. Once you get it focused, it takes little movement to go from zero...
