hello everyone,
two of my lasers don't work for the same unknown reason, its something with the batterys but i do not know what, because both the battery's make contact to eachother, to the spring for + and to the switch for -. they are fully charged and the host fully works as well because when i use my power supply at the same points it works perfecctly fine.
everything works when i seperate it, but when i put it together it doesn't so does anyone know how to fix this problem, because i really want to know.

if someonne wants a picture of the laser, just pm me and ill send some.

It could be reverse polarized, most of the diodes has a reverse zener diode protection, in most of the cases Red =+VCC & Black = GND.

If you add a series resistor (for example 1k) with the batteries, you should be able to see the dot, maybe there's lacking of voltage (secondary drive) to run the current (main drive). I had the same situation with some experiments using a NUBM31T. You must check your datasheet and see the supply format.

OK, This is a common problem so try this: put the batteries in WITHOUT the tailcap. Short the battery end to the case of the laser with wire or foil or whatever. Does the laser light up? Then you have a bad tailcap/switch.

Hi, It's possible your material settings are too low in the software. Try turning up your power and heat in small increments (10) to get a stronger laser output. Perform the 4 corner test to ensure that your mirrors are properly aligned. If not, then align your mirrors to improve laser output.

hello everyone, some of your ideas did not work. and i haven't tried the other ones because it is just a handheld laser with a nugm02.

any other ideas?

Check if you have „flat Top“ battery cells. It’s possible that the two series battery don’t make connection to each other. Flat top battery cells don’t have a bump at the positive connection. This makes it likely that they don’t connect properly. Adding a solder bump to the positive terminal fixes this.
