I was somehow able to grab a Survival Lasers 2W 445nm with multiple batteries, and glasses for ....wait for it....ONLY 85$ User stated in perfect condition. Pic attached

Think I'm going to do a little review for fun on this when it comes even though we all know Survival makes great units, I also have a 470nm Ranger being built from Sanwu which I will 100% do a full write up and review on as I havn't seen one yet on that particular model.

As someone who has been out of the loop since 2014, I am blown away by the pricing of lasers now. Plan on aggressively expanding my collection of wavelengths.

First post since 2014 Good to be back!

Hi,
Thats a Eugemus host he has been retired from making hosts for a while now. That is not a Survival laser host, anyway since you been gone there has been many new things produced.

ah sorry about that snagged it off of ebay seller must have been mistaken, either way excited to be back. Thanks guys. But yeah i saw we now have green diodes and a whole plethora of blue shades. I cant wait to snag a 488nm and a 505nm next!

We are just now starting to get more and more drivers so keep your eyes open. I think the hobby might just kick back up again.

You will be pleasantly surprised how much colour difference even 1-2nm can make in that part of the spectrum. We are very sensitive in that area. Getting both is one way of finding out lol

What diode is rated at 492nm@100mw? The only thing I was aware of that are available around that wavelength are the Sharp diodes and I thought they were all spec'd at or around 60mw.. sort of hoping I missed a diode that was 492@100, because I want it :)

Check out Sanwu Pocket series, I hear great things about their lasers so far and that they are usually up to sepc. I see they have a 100mw 492nm and a 60mW in 488nm. any thoughts on these guys?

They are good small pocket laser products --many members have and like them.
If you use LPF Search you can find threads with answers to most common questions.

Good to hear they are still active! I just placed an order for a Sanwu Ranger so once it arrive ill scoop another from them lol

I have a Sharp 488nm doing 139mW (The link to the build is in my signature.) It is definitely a unique wavelength that you need to see, my camera has a hard time capturing it. From what I've read, they can run from 486nm to 493nm as their temperature changes.
