Is the duty cycle limited by battery supply (drains so fast) or by the heat generated?

Hi yah Bob,
All good down here mate.
Good to hear you're overlanding, wish I was there with you.
Sounds so good, night sky and lasers, awesome !!

The Southern Museum is in lockdown atm, not from covid19 but from lack of time to play with the exhibits :ROFLMAO:
Great to see the Northern Museum is still going strong.
Looking forward to your new exhibit updates my friend.

God Bless, stay safe.

Oh my God! That is awesome. Tinker with the optics and cooling, and you got yourself a great laser for small CNC that cuts or etches thin metals, stone etc and put the smaller glass tube lasers out of business.

I don't know
Maybe throw is same nubm44 or nubm08 , because it is mutil beam
Infact,i think we can caculate throw by divergence and wavelength with laser, and candela with flashlight, but real throw also pedend on air environment

The convergence point of the 24 MM emitters using any optic just won't be that tight, nothing like the dia. of a focused co2 beam.

That and also don't forget the fact that a c02 tube of the same/higher power costs way less and you can protect your eyes from it much more easily because even a normal clear sheet of acrylic blocks it well.

Fudge! I was hoping for a more rugged system that can take a bit of abuse in the shop. If this can't be tamed down to 1/16 then it wouldn't be worth persuading
