First of all, I wanted to say hi to the community...
I found out that a part of scaring crows from nesting in my backyard would be using green laser.

i stumbled upon birthcontrolgroup dot com / agrilaser

As that specific product seems to me a bit too expensive I wanted to try with a pointer laser of probably 5mW for starters, as the crows would't be so far away from me

I wanted to buy it online but then I figured that there are lots of fraud sites, when I tried to check them on trustpilot, or here

so what do you reccomend? what site to buy from, im in eu, it would be ok if shop was in eu so i dont have to pay taxes
im ok with investing around 50 USD

do u have some experience with detering crows with green laser beams, what types do you recommend? what green laser to use to have ok visibility during dusk or dawn or maybe clowdy dayime?

thanks for ur answers/help

btw. i want to deter crows from nesting here this season because i bought bird feeders for songbirds and want to give them good condions in my backyard, and crows are their predators :/

Most of the places I would recommend wouldn't work for you due to the coronavirus in China at the moment. So do they have eBay in the EU? If so go there and search green laser. You should be able to find them pretty easy for like $10. Buy a couple of them that say they will burn stuff (to see which is best, and also in case one breaks). If they do the job great, you spend $20 and even have a backup. If they don't then you might need to look into something more powerful, probably in the $200 range.

I don't know what gave you the idea of using a laser for this. Are you going to be there all day randomly aiming a high power laser around? Even if you could what about bystanders? You could blind someone.
No you need a real pest control option. Lasers are not the way to go and I employ others to not give him information of obtaining a laser like that for this

If you're dead set on getting a laser for this be sure to read the safety thread on this forum. Most of the eBay lasers are far over 5mw. You should treat the laser with respect and caution. Use a filter on eBay search to try to find a seller located in your region. I don't know how much that agrilaser costs but a $10 eBay laser would probably work about as well if the premise is green=predator

Hi,
The laser wont work for scaring away birds and it dangerous to the animal if hit in the eyes. They will always come back, usually crows have a set area to hang around . and they are usually in flocks . Do no use a laser on them not good crows are very smart ..
Find some other means .... less lethal..

Try one of those Christmas laser projectors. You can find them at a dollar
er store or flea market.

:ROFLMAO: ^

I love the implication that only crows would be scared of christmas lights, but not songbirds, because crows are SMART.
