Thank you. There have been a few changes in the last 12 years :giggle:

Going to start with some low power diodes I think. Will have to purchase new eye protection as well. Lots to learn.

Good idea, start back slowly, as far as affordable, quality safety eyewear, I'd definitely go with Survival Laser's safety glasses/goggles.

Welcome back to the LPF. There are many inexpensive diodes available now that weren't back in 2007. Lots of new wavelengths in direct diode lasers too.
