Well I sold mine and now I wish I had it. IF anyone one has a 465-475nm diode let me now. It doesn't need to BE 473 just in that color space. Certainly no less than 465 and not longer than 475. Power doesn't matter. 30-100mw is fine but i do want to modulate it and I do not want dpss. It's just for lumia but dpss is too big. I have a couple from those bw tek units and they are too bulky. I think the n-465 diodes would be ok if anyone has one of them still around. The num07 is too violet and runs more 450 ish.

Speaking of num07. The last of my test diodes in the clean box died. Was running 24/7 since July and was an opened can. Outlasted the gball one in fact. Ran in dry nitrogen. So I think the issue is moisture when these die as well as dirt. This one died from run time. got about 6000 hours out of it.

Wondering if you should open another thread about your 07 test run..
Some might have missed that part;)

yes of course. Actually now the run is done I'll publish the whole thing. Essential keep them dry keep them clean keep them out of oxygen and they are good. next test should be in dry clean air to see if the oxygen is really an issue.

When I saw the title of this post I thought you wanted the Sharp diode that came out in a very limited run. Those are unicorn diodes, indeed. Mine measures 477nm and is a beautiful blue color. But, I would not give it up and most members here that have one, likely wouldn't either. If you are looking for a multi-mode diode to push up to that wavelength, you might want to look at the NDB7674 as they can be pushed much higher at 2.4 amps and higher currents. You might have to put it into a lab host to keep it from overheating, though.

it's for lumia so high power is actually not needed. I'm totally fine on the source. It need not be anything specific. I only have 100.00 of so to spend on it so yea unlikely i'll get a unicorn
