It was but we have removed the shipping cost from the price, it's now $900.

I just received my Sanwu RGB in the mail today... pretty incredible. The white feels much more ‘real’ than either of the chinese rgb modules I have, and the alignment is much better too. Going to make a review if I have time.

Laser arrived yesterday. Pretty cool. Just playing with it.

First impresions are quite well. Great feeling holding laser in hand, it is pretty heavy considering its size (steel, not aluminium). Battery compartment is removable and you can choose large for 18650 or small for 18350 batts. There is small plastic piece with spring and contacts serving as space filler to allow the host adapt even larger batts like those yellow from Nitecore. Magnets would be better as adapter, but it would not like steel host in practical use. And battery comes positive first - towards aperture.

Adjustment rings are great and elegant feature - much better than some knobs - however I would personaly put them in oposite order - mode selector closest to aperture. Sometimes I just accidently adjust mode and even when operating at low power the cycle mode reaches shortly full power (no need to have any other ring on). In other modes (strobe with speed adjust, SOS) the power and color combination is taken from rings setting. Order is: Off/rings controlled operation - strobe low frequency to high frequency - color cycle - SOS.

Beam alignment does look ok, however at closer examination of beam you will notice individual colors (partialy it is given likely by beam diameters - red seems to be the smallest, than blue and green as largest). The divergences of diodes seem better (but not perfect) than on my RGB projector - Laserdock. However beam has to be examinated closer, take these as my first impresions. So far I did not have opportunity to test them on longer distances. I guess alignment changes a bit with thermal expansion - longer use will show. And it heats during operation and keeps warm a while due to steel used.

Exploring internals through looking into aperture (laser disarmed of course) seems there are 3 diodes put in line and 2 mirrors and 2 dichros are used to combine beam and fit module into such a small host.

Interesting when turning on button on tailcap red blinks shortly at very low power - serves as indicator to me. When using it you can hear drivers working a bit, but only in quiet room.

What I would appreciate is some protection lenscap to prevent dust - there is threading for accessories around aperture, so it could be just additional piece to manufacture - something like Jet Lasers use in their Pros.

Overall I'm happy with the laser so far, lets see longer use.

Are you saying there's no AR coated glass dust window at the output ? There must be a t least 1 output window to protect the optics, maybe you mean you would like an additional dust window ?

Yes, there is one AR-coated glass on the top but it’s not removable like the other laser models we have, we might consider to include one additional dust proof cover as what Radim said since people probably don’t want to risk any scratches over on the coated glass.

The first 10 RGB lasers are all shipped. And the second batch will have to wait, the second shipment will probably set on February, although you can still order the laser on our store with limited quota.
