Hey all, been awhile since I've posted! Been mainly doing photography with my lasers but decided I'd give a try into building my own. I recently purchased this diode with a pre-installed driver to get the hang of it before I buy a more expensive diode Brass 532nm 20mW Green Dot Laser Diode...
405nm is gonna be hard to get nice beam specs without fog. Might want to look for a 532nm
https://www.sanwulasers.org/product/304green You can do 40 or 80 on this one. I recommend this one if your looking for beam specs.
Yeah I eventually want to build my own, I've had that attachment to other things I've made in the past (even if they weren't that good ) Never thought I'd be building a laser when I got older hahaha, little me would think that's crazy.

Hey this is my first review, first off I highly recommend this laser. It is definitely overspec, so make sure you get safety glasses! It is not a burning laser though, so do not expect it...
Lots of vets know all this already, but for newbies like me, it can help to show how dangerous lasers are. Firearm safety is very closely related to laser safety. Here are some firearm safety rules compared to laser safety.
1. Always Keep The Muzzle Pointed In A Safe Direction - Never point...
Atleast the next few won't be assss expensive (hopefully lmaoo) since I won't have to buy new safety glasses and a charger, cause those were not cheap hahaha.
