I know that single mode diodes have very good raw beam specs and, if fine tuned, can be focused down to a beam spot even lower then 0.1mm; however in my case a high power diode (within the 405- 480nm range) is required. The laser it's not gonna be used to engrave but within a scanning device...

I'm looking for a spot in the range of 0.1-0.3mm (0.04"/0,12"). The beam spot does not have to be fully rounded.
