    7W Laser from Sanwu Lasers

I purchased a 5W laser from Sanwu - Spiker. It was my first laser, and I was a newbie to lasers. I purchased 2 goggles with it as well. I've wear the goggles religiously while using it, and make anyone with me while I'm using it wear the other pair. I've never blinded myself, injured my...

    Any builds using an array?

I'm curious to know whether anyone has ever built a handheld laser using an array of diodes focused into one beam?

    SANWU Love

I only have one - the Spiker, but I've never seen handheld lasers made as nice as Sanwu makes them. It's nice to see such a good product consistently being made by a company. Yes, it makes me want an all Sanwu collection too.

    40v 5 amp battery builds?

Has anyone attempted a laser build using a larger portable power source, such as a 40 volt, 5amp Ryobi battery? It seems to me that this could power a number of Nub44M's in an array to make a very powerful portable laser. Just wondering if anyone has experimented with these larger batteries?

    Sanwu Spiker review

I paid a little more for the Spiker (non-saber). I really like the thickness and weight of it. I do need to get that adapter for the beam expander. Podo, how should I contact you to get the adapter that I failed to order? It's not listed as a separate item on Sanwu's website.

    Sanwu Spiker review

ElectricPlasma, no I do not still have the dimming problem. It was clearly a battery problem that took a little bit for me to diagnose. My first set of batteries came from Ebay. One was a good battery; the other has a problem with it. I went to a Vape shop to buy two new batteries and a good...

    Space Discussion Thread

Who knows, perhaps only a fraction of the mass of the sun is all that is necessary to extend the sun's life by 1 Million years. A million years is a long time for the human race. Besides, no matter what our future generations attempt to do to save themselves from the galactic forces that could...

If we have the technology to move the earth with all of its plants and animals intact to a star comparable to our sun, we would surely have the technology to rejuvenate our own Sun and keep it going for another million years. It might be as simple as feeding it Jupiter and Saturn!

1W Laser for Self Defense in an Active Shooter Situation

Personally, I think it would work. But, so would a gun. Less liability shooting the murderer dead than with blinding him. But, if all I had was a 1W laser, I'd whip it out and start blinding the murderer! I'd worry about taking my lumps later.

    Sanwu Spiker review

I've been away for a few weeks. I did not order the adapter, didn't know I needed it. Yes, without the adapter, the beam expander is fairly useless on the Spiker. I was going to try and play with it a bit more to get it to work, but, honestly, I was afraid of burning my hand. Ok, so I'm...

I make no opinion on whether or not we live in a "multiverse", as I have no evidence one way or the other to support such an opinion. Although, I tend to doubt parallel or even not so parallel universes exist. However, if there is/are other universes essentially occupying part of the same...
