Just a quick question about the soldering to bypass the switch: is this required or is it possible to leave it? I never really got the point of bypassing it.

How would an Intel E5200 DC @ 2.50GHz go? It would definitely fit, check some prices online (Newegg etc) and PM me with an offer. Keep in mind I'm from Australia so postage may be a bit D: (this also means no importing laser pointers, but diodes and modules etc are fine).
