The outer ring do i need to solder that to the heatsink?

I am asking if i need to solder a connection between the ring around the driver (which you cant see) to the outer part of driver.

And also i was looking at laserbtb's HL532nm 300mw one and from what i have heard those are usually way overspec and they are good quality. Are the Jetlasers overspec? (i know they are good quality)

I am looking for a good quality 100mw+ green laser POINTER i want a pointer cause i just love the style of them. So does anyone have any suggestions?

I polished it with rubbing conpound and i used turtle wax for a clear coating that will last for quite a while and i dont get almost any fingerprints

But mine doesnt get hardly any fingerprints when you touch it. So i woukd say mine is easy to handle and plus i could put a coating of some wax which would last a while.

Should i just sell the host or the host with laser? I also dont know what kind of host people would like should i just polish some hosts that i like then sell em?
