I ordered from this site before, never will again. The "500 mw" green laser i bought will not burn or make anything smoke, also the laser is going bad on me. I could have gotten a legit 5mw laser and gotten the same results :(
So i would need to use the multimeter mid test to read my voltage right? Im a bit confused, So your saying the laser may be demanding more power during the test than the battery can supply and this is not good for the battery right? And when you say run the voltage low does that mean i have to...
Well i just waited until the laser stopped putting out light so i assumed the battery was dead (zero) hahaha how is this thing still working, i even checked the board for signs of heat or anything and it looks new
Yeah i tried to torture test it to see if i could get it to go kaboom because im probably going to buy a different laser soon, but i was curious to see how long it would last. It was getting a bit warm, but not hot. The fuzz happened before i even touched the parts. I dont notice any damage to...
I wish it was focusable :( the fuzz cant be removed, i cleaned the diode and both sides of the lense with a ear swab. I charged the battery and tested the run time. The laser ran continuously from 4:20pm-5:45pm and the battery charged from zero to full in 5:48pm-6:53pm, but the power of the...
Haven't done a draw test yet. Btw whats all this green fuzz around the dot? I just noticed this I dont think it was there before imgur: the simple image sharer
Im getting the nitecore i4 so i dont think i would need a protected battery? Also if the flat top cells arent long enough to reach the connectors in my laser, would it be a bad idea to stack aluminum to make it reach? Im probably going to measure the dimensions of the ultrafire battery they sent...
Whats your personal reccomendation for 18650 batteries? I want the panasonic because of the 3400mAh but i heard there are ones for vaping that put out 25-30 amps vs the panasonics 10 amps. More amps means the beam will be stronger but the battery wont last as long right?
My next laser will definately be bought from these forums so I know what im getting. I once bought a $220 1.5w blue ray laser but I returned it to the seller because I didnt have eye protection and I didnt wanna risk hurting myself or anyone, it was a damn powerful laser but im probably goona...
The flat top panasonics are non pcb protected. The protected versions are button tops but I heard people say the protection board doesnt help and can cause problems?
Hmmm.....this ultrafire did come with power, but idk how fully charged it is. Could that be why the laser starts out strong then dims quickly? Also would the panasonic batteries be better for it?
