well, that's a pity. when it arrives i'll post them a negative feedback, that'll wake them up.
i've had that some time ago. i bought a 200W speaker amplifier, it was 2W and i posted negative feedback. they responded within 10 min. and gave me my money back.
so i think i'll get my money back.
i bought i 405nm diode on ebay for 25$, they advertised with 300mW.
i don't worry about it, i payed with paypal and if the diode won't reach 300mW i'll get my money back. it's from a chinese dealer, they'll do anything to keep their good rating.
but what current is safe to pump through the...
as i said, i use a adjustable power supply, i can set the maximum current and voltage.
but now, i have another problem, i've put my diode nicely in the aixiz module (with lens etc.) but i can't focus it to a dot, if i place the lens as closely as possible to the diode, it's still is a wide dot.
i've just recieved my phr-803t sled from stonetek, i did not recieved the driver yet, but i want to try out the diode.
i have a nice adjustable power supply with 0-3A and 0-30V, i want to power the diode with 100mA, but at what voltage?
what is the dropout voltage (it is dropout right? like...
you won't set the heatsink to 275mA, you'll set the flexdriver to 275mA
a heatsink is a metal casing around whatever is hot to transfer the heat more easily to the air, so in this case the diode itself, otherwise the diode would die of heat.
the flexdriver is a driver made by drlava (?) on this...
the massive heatsink is only because i didn't have the money to buy a nice fitting heatsink, but it is my first so the next
one will get a nice small heatsink.
maybe my next laser will be a blue/violet laser, i just patiently wait for my wages to come in.
if the batteries are empy in...
I just finished my first red laser!, it's burning pretty well.
i made it out of a 5w MXDL flashlight, a rckstr driver, an Aixiz module with a glass lens, one of those new red diode's from senkat's shop (windowless SLD1239JL-54),
2x cr123a batteries and a heatsink from those DX lab lasers.
i...
funny;
Powersupply's? you need a powersupply? ofcourse you need a powersupply! where do you think you plug this thing?
i think he made me go to mi-lasers.com, now.
nice heatsink,
but wouldn't this be too much cooling for such an diode? (ok, you couldn't have too much cooling)
i htink this is better for, i don't know, ehm, 400mw diode's?
Re: Micro-Driver laser driver *NOW ADJUSTABLE*
are those shipping methods correct? because 2-3 weeks, isn't that a bit long? and 10 dollars more for 6-10 days, 3-5 days 25 dollar and 36 dollar for a 1-3 days shipping time.
it's just a ~1*2cm module in a envelope!
(is there a sort of guarantee...
ehm, I've read somewhere that if you use a glass lens that it can improve your laser power.
because by some red lasers someone had with an acrylic lens ~250mw and with a glass lens almost 300mw.
so i would think that it would work also great with a blue diode.
i think that the glass lens lets...
