    Powell lens and power reduction?

I think is good idea too make a comparative between laser and LED. I would consider it in my thesis plan. In my faculty there is a power led panel used in previous thesis ( i don t remember well but was linked to alga studies). Last question: What lens do you suggest me to collimate the laser...

    Powell lens and power reduction?

Hi paul, well i am confused about leds. My first impression is its convinence for larger areas Could i get a vertical light led sheet of 2 x 1 inchs height and 2 mm width? Thak you very much again.

    Powell lens and power reduction?

I read on a scienti$t paper that lasers are better than led panel for these trials, because his deeper penetration in cloudy waters ans more efficiency (lowe dispersion). Buth i will review more papers linked to that technique.

    Powell lens and power reduction?

Hi paul, why is ig important the polarization? Is it related with brighter of alignment? Google is not very clear. Greattings.

    Powell lens and power reduction?

Hi everybody, i ve been thinking in a very low cost PIV system for analyzing the hydrodynamic of flocs particles in cloudy water. I bought: dsrl camera @60 fps 1080p( to record the sludge) , a macro lens 1:1 ,a 200mw green module diode laser(i chose the potency from suggestions from other...

    75, 1500 or 200mw? Which power?

Hi paul,i m a little confused about the first part of your comment. Do you say i need a laser line lens or another type of laser device? I think i forgot to mention that my school s experiment requires a continous laser sheet in cloudy water. I am looking on aliexpress two lasers...

    75, 1500 or 200mw? Which power?

Hi ty for the answer. One quest, do i need a expander beam? I want to record some particle in the water. I think the laser light should have 1.5mm

    75, 1500 or 200mw? Which power?

So with 200 mw i ll avoid engraving and cutting. Do i need special glass for eye protection at this power? Ty.

    75, 1500 or 200mw? Which power?

Correction: 150mw, aespherical lens. I forgot to mention that laser beam should have 1.5mm of thickness.

    75, 1500 or 200mw? Which power?

Greetings friends, I have two questions about the selection of laser for an experiment at my university which consists of illuminating with green laser and an aerial lens (to generate a planar beam) a sample of cloudy water. The water will be contained in a 4mm thick transparent acrylic...
