    Use netstat and take a look at ports 49156 to 491xx - that M$ looking for blacklisted keys and cracks. I have auto updates turned off. If you use the loader previously mentioned on this thread it will only work on Professional and Ultimate versions. Don't mess around with the lower versions...

    you can get a good deal on a new laptop in that price range or lower check out Dell, Gateway and Buy.com I always pick up a refurbished computer because it has full warranty and a great discount Here's one at Buy.com at $699 for an example...
