Started out with low power inexpensive HeNe TEM00 gas lasers. Tried my hand at holography with mixed results - probably laser power too low at ~1mW.
Dropped out for quite a while to go to college and start working, came back to find it had drastically changed with DPSS and "build your own". Went off and built synthesizers for a while - came back (now) and it seems to be single laser diodes with optics and a current source driver. Here to see what I can learn.
