I am fully aware of everything, just happened to forget about cooling.
I see Coletech is a leading eBay seller and sells a 40W and 60W CO2 tube w/ PSU (dont know if they include the cooling).
Wont be getting a CO2 laser soon since I am purchasing my 2W 532nm Green labby and 3W 445nm handheld.
Yea like a enclosure for the tube and PSU. I can just buy the PSU and tube then build my own enclosure out of something and have the tube surrounded in foam to prevent fractures.
Where would I get one though?
CO2 lasers are rather cheap, but if your looking at 400W I wonder what you will even do with that.
Many manufacturing planets use CO2 Lasers for precise cuts or laser drilling in microns.
Sorry for thread jacking but I am looking where to buy a 40W+ CO2 Laser in a nice host.
Do any of you know...
Can you dye over the current Anodize that was dyed a different color.
e.g. Dying a anodized Black Matte to anodized Metallic.
Would that be effective or would it create a two tone effect which can be better or worse.
Re: 1.45W 1450mW Green 532nm Lab Laser **pic HEAVY and video** ***REVIEW ADDED***
Where did you buy your lasers and for how much? Post pics or vid plz.
Get yourself KTP krystal, Ive seen 40W 532nm lasers on CNI but the cost is outragous. Probably the best I can get ATM is a 3W DPSSL.
Simple...
Have the Laser on something stable e.g. Tripod.
Have the beam in a strayed path like a Hallway,Garage, backyard, etc.
Then Hve the dot at about 5 feet or more aimed into a BeamDump ,securing it.
Just Avoid Looking into the Dot or Aperture and ypu can see the Beam Nicely.
But ALWAYS...
Probably the most powerful Blue laser you can buy from a company is a 20000mW or higher laser system.
I wonder if you pointed that in the sky and strobe in sync with some loud woofers to make a alien Beacon... (Obviously very Dangerous and was not serious)
Hey,
I dont suggest buying from Wicked Lasers, I had a good run with them but there are so many lies and underquality overspec lasers.
Probably the only good thing I like from them is their hosts.
But whatever you prefer its up to you, I would Suggest O-Like then you can start building your own...

Well from what I know LEDs, the same in flashlights will generate the light but not the heat. There are LED lasers out there with a variety of WL.
In Manufacturing Circuit board they often use 1 CO2 Laser (dont know exact power) and split the beam into alot of individual beams in the form of...
