Thank you Soren. And to the first comment, I became a member in 2009 and the only time I come on here is to ask questions when buying a laser. I'm not an enthusiast and I don't come on here every day to chat lasers.

So I understand that green lasers don't just shoot off the visible green beam, but a wider, stronger IR beam. Why? Why is that part of a green laser?

I ordered a pair of goggles to block 405nm, and the goggles that arrived are lime green. I thought goggles for 405nm were different? Are these a mistake, or am I just thinking of a different color?
