GUIDE: I want my first laser!

Would looking at the dot of the thor's on a non reflecting surface cause eye damage without protective googles? If yes, what would be a safe distance to look at the dot without damaging eyesight? How about looking at the beam? Also, sorry if its a stupid question, but do googles make the laser...

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

Just wanted to point out that I received my Panasonics some time ago, fully charged them and my laser is still very weak and dim, so I guess its the diode. Anyways, take in cosideration the lifespan of a laser before buying. I had no idea but hopefuly new customers will look at this thread.

    Laser starting to get weaker

I will buy another one for sure if this one is dead, the damn laser bug bit me hard! O-Like was an option before but at the end i switched to lazerer, I'll take a look again :).

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

Thanks man, I figured out I would just share my experience with the product I acquired. I pretty much gave up on the Stick but you guys are really helpful and I guess there's still a chance the laser's ok and it is indeed the battery. The charger does have an indicator, red when charging and...

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

Thanks Tw15t3r, will do that. Anyways, I ordered a couple of Panasonics, they were 8 bucks so it is worth trying. I noticed another thing, today the laser wouldn't even turn on, but after i charged the chinese battery for about 15 mins, the laser turned back on, but very dim, <5mW I'd say...

    Lazerer 100mw (Can't decide!)

Another thing to point out is that I haven't tested the laser with another battery, just the chinese one Max gave me, so there's the possibility that the battery is faulty, who knows. I'm buying some panasonics to double check this thing, I'll let you know if it was just the battery or the...

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

Thanks! What's the difference between the ones that say "A" and "B"? I see no 3200mAh, should I go with a 3100 one? which one do you recommend? Sorry, complete noob with this stuff :p Also, is it wise to charge them with the chinese charger that Max gave me?

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

Hmm, I will buy a Panasonic and let you guys know. Know where I can get one?

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

This one It says: TR 18650 3200mAh 3.7V Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting It was the battery and the charger that MAx gave me, never used any other battery. Also, so you can see it is indeed the stick: http://tinypic.com/r/o0ih0/6 All I gotta say is, Max was...

    Lazerer 100mw (Can't decide!)

Well, not a big laser expert, but I consider regular use respecting the duty cycle right? plus is not like I used it every day all day, the most I used it was when I went to 2 friend's parties and showed it to everybody, rest of the time I only turned it on at my palce just to see how far it...

Warning : DO NOT buy from Lazerer

Yup, well... with shipping, the battery and the certificate it was 70. I got it right here actually, yesterday it had a point that looked <5mW. Today it doesn't even turns on. :(

    Lazerer 100mw (Can't decide!)

Just a word of caution, my 100mW stick died after 5 months of regular use. I never dropepd it/used another battery/went above the duty cycle, so you may want to be careful on that. They say Lazerer's a good company, but their warranty is just a month. :)

    Optotronics pen pointers

Hello guys, Well, seeing that my stick from lazerer simply died after 5 moths of purchase, I decided to acquire a new laser, and someone told me optotronics is a good company. I am thinking of buying this one right here: Optotronics Product Details Do you guys have any experience with this...
