    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

I was trying to figure out the second set of lasers below and I realized it's your pool right? Really cool pic. I just got my 150mw 520nm pocket and it's awesome. I changed the lens from my 3watt silver series from a 3 element to a G7 and it beefed up the output noticeably. I can straight up...

Wow. That's the coolest picture! Is that the 1 watt green in the middle?

Sanwu review, 7 watt Spiker, Tri-beam Guardian, 150mw 520nm Pocket

I ended up ordering a 520nm pocket due to your feedback! I can't wait for the laser to come in. I'll probably be using it on my telescope (hopefully it won't kill my night vision lol)

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

I've had a couple of weeks to play with the pocket 650nm and the pocket 405nm and they are so awesome! I like the 405nm the best out of the 2 I'd say. It has the G2 lens and I have placed an order for a replacement lens for it. (the G7) which should increase it's output a bit. I can see the...

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Podo, First off thank you for making some really sweet lasers! I have a question. I ordered some extra lenses but when I ordered them I didn't see where to specify what wavelengths they are for. I know that some lens coatings are for specific wavelengths. How will I know which ones to use on what?

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Nice post. I saw that before but I didn't know that's the diode I had because on the sanwu website it has several diodes listed under the silver series. So looks like about 2.4 amps gives about 3 watts of laser energy. Cool! Edit +rep

Oh. And yes it's a sweet ass laser.

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

I have that laser too I'm just wondering what runtime I'm looking at. I guess I could measure it with the batteries I have and that could give me an estimation of current draw but it's highly dependent on the health of my batteries and several other factors. I use nitecore 3400 mah batteries...

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but what is the discharge current of the Sanwu 3 Watt silver series laser? I'm curious about run-time on the unit and if my batteries are up to the task.

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele Nice BobMc! I have the 250mw 650nm and have the pocket 405 and 520 incoming. Looking forward to the 520! Do you know what the divergence is with the G7 lens? I'm assuming you ordered it with the G7.

GUIDE: Which company should I buy from?

Ordered from sanwu 3 watt silver series and it took five days to ship and another 4 days to arrive including 36 hours in customs. I paid for expidited shipping. The company returned my email within 3-12 hours when I asked some questions about their products. Great experience from them.

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele I use nitecore protected 18650 3400 mah batteries in my silver series and they work great.

Laser as a star finder for my telescope!

The picture with the moon is actually looking through a 38mm eyepiece. 1000mm focal length on the scope gives me about 26x power. The picture of the telescope and the beam shooting towards Venus is normal exposure with my iphone. I have a 16 megapixel handheld camera i'll use next time to see...

Laser as a star finder for my telescope!

Here are a couple pictures using my Sanwu 3 watt 445nm Silver Series pointing to Venus and the Moon. Anyone else have cool pictures using your lasers as star finders? More beam pictures to come! Some pictures with my iPhone 6s look very violet and a couple are electric blue. It's just a solid...
