I bought a laser that was labeled on the package as 2 Greens Lasers (it was really purple) and was 24 grams each. So yours might be real. I wouldn't give any credit card information. Where you buying at?

So would that combination be all I needed? Could I use that host with a different diod and stuff then replace them later if I want?

Where is closing? And soldering is a important thing, I would like to avoid it.

I want to build my own lasers but need help on what i need. First of all, what items do i need to build a laser? I know a diode a case, a heat-sink, but what else? Also, what kinds of things do i need to know before i start to build them? any link to this information would be very much appreciated.
