I will consider discussing some kind of compensation with Sanwu if you guys really feel that this is unacceptable.
Thank you
I quote from one of Sanwu's emails to me: "We will change the description on the red guardian page since it's built by full copper, we cannot put the reverse...
I am satisfied with Sanwu's service; especially their customer service. Perhaps I'm being naive but maybe in the future I could email them about this and request a discount on another purchase.
I don't really mind about the scratch because the red laser pointer was free. However, I do mind that...
Well hello there fellow humans.
In May, I ordered a Sanwu Red Guardian: my first real laser, and I want to talk about my experience. There was also a deal where I got a free (200mw?) red laser pointer. This might be useful to you if you're ordering from Sanwu for the first time.
When I got the...
Wow! Sanwu got back to me already.
They have suggested
Nitecore is going to get a very strongly worded email, I'll tell you that much ;) just kidding. I will ask them to send me a replacement battery though. Their batteries are known to be reliable right?
The battery is fully charged according to my Nitecore charger. I tried again and the laser turned on. There was gentle smoking so I turned it off after two seconds.
I don't have a different battery so should I buy one?
I tried the battery both ways because I knew that the Sanwu driver has reverse polarity protection. When the positive end was facing the tailcap, the laser didn't turn on. The laser only turns on with the negative end facing the tailcap.
Got my Sanwu Red Guardian in the post today. It has a 1W 405nm diode. It arrived much sooner than I was expecting. After I tried to use it, I immediately noticed something was wrong.
I put my Nitecore IMR 18350 battery in and turned on the laser. Immediately it started smoking. The...
I bought the laser last week; looks like it's going to arrive soon! :D
I ended up going for the 1W 405nm option instead of the 3W one. Violet is my favourite laser colour! I was wondering, exactly what diode model is the 1W 405nm? Other Sanwu lasers advertise a 900mW 405nm diode so...
