I need to get in touch with rayfoss. I placed an order with them exactly one month ago today. I have not heard anything about my order and I don't even know if it's been shipped yet. Does anyone know how to get in touch with them? I sent an email to rayfoss.com@hotmail.com, and also added that address to MSN, but they're never on MSN. Thanks.

rayfoss hasnt been on MSN for a while but aparently in china they are having all their special "holidays" so orders are backed up

I see. Do you know when they end by any chance? I want my stuff already, shouldn't take a month to receive from China.

i was just talking to faona on MSN about it and she said they had holidays coming up so they would be a bit backed up for a while.
i dont even know what holidays they are

I ordered a laser on the 9th, and it hasn't come yet. I emailed Faona about it and she said she would include a charger in my package. :beer: She also said something about the moon festival backing up orders.

It's a 1 week holiday called "national day" that begins on October 1st and runs through the 7th.
I would say it's very strange that they say things would be backed up before they even have 1 day off, usually the backup would happen when they get back to work in a week.
Either way, there is no excuse for them not to ship the item for an entire month.

Exactly, I sent an e-mail before their holidays began, and I'm very close to filing a claim with paypal. I'm giving them until the 4th to reply and even then I still might. It's never taken me so long to get something from China and I must say I'm pretty disappointed in rayfoss. I don't even know when/if they shipped it as of now, and I have no clue when it'll even arrive. As I said, the order was placed on August 28th which was WELL before their holidays started.

Mine was shipped on the 27th, and it hasn't arrived :undecided:
I sent payment on the 9th.

18 days to ship something? That's unacceptable....I can understand it taking that long to from the time they ship it to the time it arrives at your house...

Edit: I filed a dispute a while. If they don't answer me within seven days I'm escalating it to a claim.

It's a tough call. Rayfoss has a pretty good reputation around here, and I must say their prices are rather decent. At this point in time, I'm still willing to do business with them. We'll see how this plays out.

Well, it turns out that USPS are the morons to blame. Faona emailed me back with a tracking #, and it turns out my package has been sitting in my post office since....hold on now...SEPTEMBER 8th 2010!

How the HELL can USPS be so incompetent as to let a package sit in their facility unnoticed for a month? God I hate USPS....

Glad you got it, but it's not USPS's fault it's set there.
They gtry to deliver only 1 time and at that time they leave a note of attempted delivery. It's possible the note got lost ie. taken from your door by some kid or something.
They will then hold the package for 30 days and return it to the sender. A few more days and it would have been shipped back to RF.

I think RF is partially responsible for never giving you a tracking number, if they had you would have known right away it was being held at the PO.

All's well that ends well.

The mailboxes where I live have a lock that only the post office and my family can open. A notice of failed delivery was never left. The tracking # confirms this as well. It never said out for delivery or notice left.

I had a similar thing with USPS....got a FINAL notice for the FIRST time in the mail box....went to the post office and the lady there told me that I should...."...if your expecting a package just check here every now and then..." WOW!!! I thought their job was to deliver....so I feel your pain MFO...
