Pi, I think that was jander6442's collection; it's in this thread, "All hail the King".
I think smeerworst has his large collection in a glass case also.

Yes thanks for finding that, that's the one I was thinking of. I had forgot about Smeerworst, here is his thread with a video of his glass case of lasers: http://laserpointerforums.com/f48/my-new-display-case-81103.html
Clearly Pman, jander6442, and Smeerworst, all have very impressive collections and have each spent thousands of dollars. It looks like Pman probably has the largest number though as far as we know.

Yeah, I'm kinda creapy lol. The story behind them comes down to needing a distraction from pain issues when I was still forcing myself to work when I got home so I built and built. Doesn't help as much now but I save more $:)
Today there is right around 350 of them but I want that # to go down. I've been selling some focusable pens and some Fasttech 532nm modules units here and there. Problem is I have so many one off units that I custom made that are hard to give up especially due to the amount of work that was involved in making their heat-sinks. It could take a day to put some together.
The thin 532nm beam is so nice to look at compared to lots of wavelengths. It looks sharper to me like it could slice things.
Some of those other collections have way more $ spent due to the custom hosts where I just kept picking up different flashlights I found at some store or purchased from Fasttech. The fun for me was figuring out how to work with what I had rather than buying something that was made for a build. Some of the ones I've seen by those other guys are stunning in those cases. Kind of makes me think they barely turn them on just like me and keep a few out to mess with.

Broken flashlights and Glocks, I have those too.

This was just my attempt at levity, many...rather most of the hosts posted by you nice people look quite good.

I was thinking about doing a bunch of rings with spacers for air cooling on this 501D but I am going with bigger diodes now and need to step up to 26650's

Just 1 drawer of my everyday beaters.

Very impressive heatsink Alaskan. That sure doesn't look like my TK75!

It needs some machining to remove the fins on one side, then attach a flat plate for knife edging and another rounded piece to go over it to keep everything enclosed. This is far too heavy as it is, but with half the weight removed, it should be much better. I might just toss this heat sink and have one made, but in any case, it is a good moc up for the machinist to see what I want.

Man that's cool as hell, you just need a pair of pistol grips on it LOL.
You should include a pic of your battery set up, it's a great option for the higher current we are going to need.

As soon as I get the battery expander tubes in the mail I'll post a photo showing four of them on the flashlight.

I have a few myself, the tape you see on the heads of some of them is to keep from loosing the focus rings until I get a diode and lens in it.

If I dont count kits-LED lights that could SOMEDAY be lasers and count instead- the items my twisted mind wants to make into laser--
Neintendo plastic pistols
A StarWars fighter with ATM 4 tiny leds -replacing them and adding 5 more tiny lasers 2 red 2 green and one 405
One quite rare (in near-perfect shape) PowerRangers 'transformer' gun
some Pelican waterproof lights
3 Drorcy Jrs -need two more heat sinks to have a RGB set
my version Fat Bob- Fat boy -that was once a green alignment laser fat enough to hold 4 16650s and 4 more if needed-I have fans & may add those and/or a TEC
may use instead a PT 54 red LED from kasio pj harvest using the fan and TEC
Various unknown aluminum tubes that could become a laser
and a few ROBO robots in need of red laser eyes to replace the lame red LEDs and a green on one wrist.

I have a mini spiro w/ red laser (or two)and want to swap for a green
Luke made me one with a 175mW A-130 diode barely hits lasing threshold-
so low its now pulsed--
and a bunch more- too many to realistically finish in the time I have left.

Then there is the box of MOH kits- every time he retired I went for the last of his hosts and he really gave me an awesome deal.

there is more- too.

Someone, I think Pman said he has 350 builds, I don't have that many but I have a closet full of stuff.
Here's just 1 drawer of my every day beaters, I have a few show queens in their own microfiber cloth lined boxes, but mostly I like to use my stuff and enjoy it.
