To begin, allow me to explain the materials I have already acquired:
I decided to use a 660nm 400mw CW red laser diode (ML101U29-25), coupled with an adjustable current laser diode driver 80-500mA w/TTL from Aixiz as a driver. I have 3.7V 3400mAh 18650 Li-ion batteries (good ones from EagleTac) that have the protector circuit for power, and have an appropriate charger (links will be at the bottom).
What I am looking for is a suitable host to hold two of these batteries at the same time while also having readily available heatsinks (i.e. not have to be custom built) and fit the Aixiz module, which currently holds my laser diode. Aesthetics is a factor, however I value (heatsinking) performance over how it looks. Cheers!
