I was at an estate sale on Monday and purchased a Synrad PW-250. Looks to be a portable handheld LPM that can measure between 1-250 watts. Anyone on the forums have or used one of these? I searched and found someone was selling a 2 watt version a few years ago, but that is all I could find here. Also, If you are in the Tampa, FL area and would like to use it. PM and we can make arrangements.

I've seen them around. As the rating suggests, they're only useful for high power. CO2, YAG, diode bar array... that sort of thing.

If you paid little for it -its quite a good deal! Want to sell?

I may sell it since all my lasers are less than 1 watt and I believe it only works from 1-250 watts, Not decided yet.

The sticker says it was calibrated on 3/09 and was due on 3/10. I guess it may need to be calibrated again. We had a friend of the family pass away who was into astronomy, ham radio and just about everything else. I was able to purchase several items before the public.

I've seen those around. Good for very High powered Lasers.

The resolution of that meter is only 100mW....
