Personally I won't recommend Coherent Laserzcheck. There are several reports of inconsistent and inaccurate readings and possibly corrupted calibration data that was stored in the internal EEPROM. As for the price, sometimes they will show up on Ebay for around $150.
^ I had not heard of that problem, thanks for the heads up. Was thinking about buying one direct from Coherent. Guess I may just get a LM-2 VIS head or an OP-2 VIS head.
