the closest they have is 1.1ohm 1W models

btw jeff, where in the hell are some pictures of that 125mW 589nm cni laser you have. that is something that needs to be shown off, and I wanna see some pictures of it, NOW!!!

Last question and I should be set, do I need to solder the resistor and the diode legs that are dangling In place, or just leave them unsoldered like In the picture?

After
I get the new resistor in of course

You don't need to solder the dangling leads to the circuit board.
You DO need to solder them to the wires coming from your driver.

Good point about DMM in series. Thanks for the response. Did not mean to sart a big discussion.

You are ALWAYS better off soldering things in place and keeping lead dress as neat as possible. But, most of the time, quick and dirty works too.
