Hey Pete, what did that driver come out of, it looks like a 1998 date on it?

I haven't a clue but I'm almost 100% certain I either bought it from someone or they sent it to me a couple years ago.
I was looking through my stuff to see what drivers I might have and found 2 super v3 that are brand new and possibly a third but I'm not sure if it is new. Also found one of those small flx drives Jordan sells and another one I can't remember at the moment. Have a bunch of miscellaneous ones like those cheap WixiZ ones that I used for lpc826 builds along with some other low current low voltage ones I saved from 532nm stuff.
I've got a survival driver coming for the 503nm Paul sent that will hopefully be here Monday so I can begin to figure out how to make up the full module and fit it in a special pen I have (I'll show it when the build is complete).
OK, suppose that was too much information but I wrote what was flowing out of my head.
Looking at it it appears to me that you have a red and black for power and tp1 and tp2 sound like test points. Don't know what orange and brown are for and obviously there's an led indicator. Sounds more like something to test something more than a driver doesn't it. Obviously has a pot adjustment. Was hoping someone would have seen one before or know what the circuitry would mean with the connection points.
I also have some other much bigger test board that I need to take a picture of that I know some other members purchased that I need to post that I am almost 100% certain came from Ebay. I'll go find it and take a pic.

So this has a + and - on the left side where you could screw down a couple of wires or maybe multimeter and then a 4 position jumper and then a .5A and a 1A jumpers plus 2 test buttons that appear to be momentary as they pop right back and a readout. Takes standard 5V power from USB and I see a spot where I guess you could power a fan. Over the readout is says AH/V/STATE.
Can anyone read Chinese and tell me what everything says?

Ok, I thought you may have removed it from a complete laser at some point, but looking at it closer, it seems to be new.
I'm sure some of the electronics experts will chime in soon and help you out, I'm curious to know what it is now too! :D

Well if I bought it I would have intended to use it but if someone gave it to me......
I know I bought the second thing though and it was some kind of tester. It might have been a battery tester.

I see number 34072 on the bug. If googled with "datasheet" key word I got this for example:

https://www.google.cz/url?sa=t&sour...FjAAegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw1hy6R5HJlLrkpIWsnShBns

I do not see the number on the other bug, nor the connections of these two (back side). Seems one of the bugs drives the other and the one being driven will be the regulator itself (I so not see any external inductance there on brief look - so it will be just simple amplifier. The 34072 seems to be the driven one (heatsink is attached to it?). Looks low current therefore.

The second bug has some kind of squiggly line and 02AD
Next line looks like LM385 and third is M1.2

Could the board in OP be a battery charging board? That would explain the LED and some of the other clues on it. The second board will take some research. I can't read Chinese. :D

Yeah me either but I bet a few here can ( read chinese). It would certainly help to know how things are labeled.

Yes, it would help a lot to know what the cues on the board are. I have found stuff in my stock and had no idea where it came from or what it was. I have taken to labeling everything in the last couple of years just to avoid this kind of issue. :D

Hey, that's a pretty cool app. My Google Chrome translates websites for me, but haven't seen one that will do it for photographs. Nice!

I use it mostly for menu in restaurants when travelling and not knowing local language. :D
