Hello guys! i've recently bought a SL R 660nm Parts Bundle, with S4 host (not C6). I've mounted it and it doesn't work, i've found the problem in the positive pole of my 18650 battery, the + pole doesn't touch the center of the buck driver. My battery is a 18650 like these: http://img.alibaba.com/photo/677217...mAh_3_7v_li_ion_pouch_cell_for_LG_18650S3.jpg
the battery has the positive pole protruding but this doesn't touch the center of the contact, i've soldered some solder on the top of the battery and now it work good but i think that this is not the correct way, have you some advices about some 18650 with positive pole protruding? where i can find it?

Some members put a small rare earth round magnet on the positive end to make it work rather than get another battery, but the danger is the magnet even though rare earth and hence very magnetic may still move and short out the battery .Not a good prospect ..its also dangerous to solder lithium ion batteries unless your very fast, too much heat can lead to them overheating in thermal runaway and may even explode ..i would just get couple more 18650 batteries, with the magnet to get you out of a pinch in the short term if you have one

You could solder a spring to the driver. Just a small one taken from an old toy or something.
