what is the most powerful diode you can run off one rechargable AA battary...
my idea is to build a laser out of one of those solar powered led lights you stickk out in your lawn... (my wifes parents had several till their dog chewed em up... broke the "bulb" and stuff... the solar panel and all electronic components still work fine)
inside those things is 1 rechargable AA a switch that senses how much light is out there (ill replace it with a push on release off switch) and a driver for the led (i may have to replace it depending onwhat you all tell me now) and an led which will be replaced with the laser diode... i was wondering what you would run off of this device...
also... I may be able to put 2 AAs in it and wire them up together to run a more powerful diode if you guys think it would work.
