My first is question is this a normal waveform for TTL PWM?

If it is a bad waveform. Hear is the over all waveform. Over a stretch of time.

And is the transistor being over driven? In this next
schematic. If that is the case. Please tell me what components to change. And what frequency can you run. Red laser diodes from cd/dvd burnners.

Hear is a pluss to my question. I researtched the schematic 200mw dx green diode pumped solid state laser DPSSL 808nm infrared ir laser diode driver greeny. Tell me what you think please.

And as for the transistor 2N2222A. Is supposed to be 2SD882. The curcuit simulation software. Didn't have the part 2SD882. And C1 cap is tantalum electrolytic capacitor 10uF 16V. As for C2 is a 100 nf 12v ceramic capacitor. As for R6 it is simulated dummy load. The positive side of laser diode. Go's toward the transistor. That's it.
And all the parts you can get from Digikey. That's all happy lasing be save and smart peace.

You forgot to mention: What exactly are you trying to do here? My response heavily relies on this.

TTL should never go below 0V or above 5V.

I need a variable TTL frequency genarator circuit schematic

Why?

Just look up square wave generator. They're on ebay for $0.98 shipped, so it really doesn't make sense building your own unless you're just doing it for the experience.

You were right 555 square oscillator. Will definitely do the job. I mess around with electronics. As a hobby. To keep my mind busy. And here is a picture of my TLC555 timer running at 4.8KHz 66.67% Duty Cycle. Wow those UV LED's can get bright!

I was just wonder if you have any circuit schematic's? On TTL PWM frequency? Or know were to get them? I have several breadboard's to troubleshoot the circuits. Before I build them completely. And yes I'am doing it for the experience. And I like your Avatar Cyparagon Is that from Diablo 2? And I see that you live in Wisconsin. I'am not that far. I live eastern Iowa.:thanks::beer:

The HV stuff I like cool looking tesla coil remake. It kind of reminds me of Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 tesla towers. LOL

Google is your friend....

Most information can be found doing
simple Google searches. Try different
search terms/wordings. :)

You should be able to see if the pulse width is changing on your O'scope, when adjusting. This seems like a no brainer to me, I don't know why you would ask if pulses look normal, we cannot see the widths changing on a static picture, you would need to show several as you made adjustments for us to see the change. But again, anyone who would attempt such a project and has an Oscope would probably know whether it was working or not without needing to ask.

i spend 2+ hours using the search in the forum and reading posts and thread , before asking a question or starting a thread or post :)
