Looking for super small (and preferably affordable) drivers

I have made a few 18650 builds but I am now hell-bent on pushing the limit of 10440 powered lasers.

There are many problems presented by trying to adapt AAA flashlight hosts into burning lasers, one of which is the space constraint.

I've been reading about the benboost driver which is a boost driver (which is perfect for powering diodes from a single 10440) which looks to be tiny and also affordable. Are these ready yet? Where can I get one?

Flexdrives are pretty good and they've worked great for my 18650 builds but theyre pretty pricey, and are also on the big side for tiny spaces in AAA hosts.

That first one looks neat. Do you know its dimensions?

Shame about the benboost needing me to hand solder SMD parts. I've got a somewhat steady hand and I do have tweezers but my soldering tip isn't all that sharp.

I bet it'd be pretty rewarding to successfully build one of those though, that's for sure. But I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort it will surely require (for me).

Are there PCB's for the benboost available, at least?
