1) The Laser Head MUST be plugged into the Driver
supply BEFORE turning 'ON' the Driver.

2) As was stated above the Power 12VDC input of
the Driver MUST be connected to a 12VDC power
supply BEFORE that Power Supply is turned 'ON'.

3) The 2pin Green, Red and Blue connectors are the
TTL inputs and require a +5V Modulated PWM signal
to turn 'ON' each Laser. (Make sure you know which
of the 2 oins is Ground)

NOTE:
Zero Volts (0Vdc) on the inputs turns 'OFF' each Laser...
Five Volts (+5VDC on the inputs turns 'ON' each Laser
at 100%...

Right. I connected the head to the driver then connected a regulated 12v power supply. I also mounted the head on a 1/4 inch 5052 aluminum plate. I had it on worked great. I had a nice big fan on the driver heatsink. Never had a heat issue. Then it flickered and went out. That was it never worked since. Laserlands is sending me a bew one and i am spending this one back.

I'm glad you are getting a new laser and driver. That will hopefully take care of all your problems. For that kind of money, I would expect no less.
